Australian referendum: No majority nationally, mixed results by state
Australians have voted against enshrining an Indigenous Voice to Parliament in the constitution, with the "No" campaign prevailing in a national vote. However, the results have been mixed across different states and cities.
The latest results show that the "No" vote has secured a majority nationally, as well as in all six states. The proposal has been rejected within 90 minutes of the polls closing on Saturday night.
